Today's testimony is brought to us by my sister and friend Laura. Laura is a pastor's wife and a mom to two boys. Additionally, she shares her love of candles, coffee, and Jesus through her page @candlesandcoffeehouse.
"I’m thankful that God is such a personal God. He is the only one who can speak to everyone at the same time, but tell each of us something different. Isn’t that amazing?!
A few months ago I struggled terribly with anxiety over some things. It caused me to panic, worry, and not be able to sleep at night. I was a mess!
It was during that time that God sent at least 3 different people to tell me exactly what I needed to hear through scripture. Each time the message was the same: Fear not!
I know beyond a doubt that God was speaking directly to me during that time. It was so special to me because the individuals that God spoke through had no idea of the anxiety going on in my mind and heart. God is that personal. He cares about each and every detail of our lives – no matter how big or small. God certainly cared enough about me to tell me exactly what I needed to hear, and for that I am forever thankful!"
